my blog world!

the Weblog, or now more famously known as BLOG has come a long way since 1998. the early build-your-own-weblog tools headed by Pitas, Blogger, and Groksoup spearheaded a brand new revolution. now there are a hundred ways to jump into the bandwagon. the internet is crawling with billions of on-line journals each with its own unique class, content and style. but of course everyone has the right to say something and you don’t need rocket science to get started. all you need is a computer, internet access, and a whole lot to say.

i’ve started blogging march of 2005. since i’m a person whose got so much to say about everything, and anything why not put it in black and white and publish it over cyber space so more people would get a chance to read all my senseless and not so senseless blabbering. and i instantly got hooked! for the first months, i had multiple entries weekly. i never knew how addicting blogging can be. i never realized i had so much more to say. although i can’t blog as much anymore, i will always find time to blog no doubt.

i don’t just see blogging as a way of reaching out and getting my voice heard, i also see it as a way of getting in-touched with myself. going over what i’ve written really gives me a more holistic view of myself. it’s like, "hello me! what have you been thinking about today? what’s new with you? how do you see this and that?" you get to tweak the things you think need tweaking.

also, you get to know yourself so much more. and if you are fortunate/interesting enough to elicit readers then so much better. you are not alone in tweaking yourself. you get other people’s points of view and you get them to tighten some loose screws themselves.

for the past year i actually never thought i would have the guts to post so many mushy entries. but hey, this is my blog world, so i can pretty much say what i want to say when i want to. don’t you dare tell me i didn’t warn you…

i consider blogging one of the best things the internet has to offer. it has done wonders for me. maybe you would want to consider starting your own blog… and let the world wide web know what you’ve got to say. or better yet let your subconscious tap your entire being and let it know what it says about you.
